Mark Degatano, Chief Strategy Officer

Mark Degatano Mr. Degatano joined ImpactRx in 2009 as Vice President, Business Development and successfully built a client base across new and emerging accounts. He was promoted to Senior Vice President, Client Service Operations and to his current position of Chief Strategy Officer, both in 2011. In his current role, Mr. Degatano leads the strategic positioning of ImpactRx, working collaboratively with our Consulting Analytics, Product Management and Operations leadership to determine the assets required to achieve our desired market position, and to drive the successful integration of acquisitions and partnership arrangements. Mr. Degatano retains his leadership role in the development and delivery of Custom Market Research solutions.

Prior to joining ImpactRx, Mr. Degatano was with Merck for 24 years. His last position was Vice President, USHH Customer Insights where he directed the market research, advanced analytics, forecasting, and sales force analytics for Merck's promoted and developmental products which spanned over 20 therapeutic areas and total sales of more than $10 billion. Mr. Degatano began his career as a consultant with Arthur D. Little, Inc. providing analytic and market research services. He has almost 30 years of marketing, market research, finance, managed care, and general management experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He received his BA in Mathematics and his MA in Statistics, both from Boston University.
